They are cut from a cotton-poly blend with a touch of elastane, so there is stretch where kids need it, and we have left the inner mesh out entirely - they go on over whatever they are already wearing and come off just as easily. An elasticated waistband with a contrast drawstring means they can dress themselves, and there are proper pockets for the treasures that come home from the beach.
