STORE MANAGER - Permanent, 0.8 - Full Time Position

We're looking for a Store Manager to join the Little Trooper family! This is a permanent position based in our Mount Maunganui store. If you've got a background in retail, coupled with a passion for design, fashion and all things kids, we want to hear from you!

This is a busy, dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in organisation and time management, and display high levels of energy and enthusiasm. We're looking for a people person who is passionate about building relationships and is committed to prioritising the experience of their customers. 

Please note the successful candidate will be required to work one weekend day each week. This role requires a minimum commitment of 32 hours (4 days) per week. 

Abilities required:

  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and with flexibility as part of a team

Experience Required: 

  • Demonstrated experience in a boutique retail environment
  • Experience working with integrated POS systems
  • Management experience is an advantage
  • Demonstrated background in design, fashion or working with children is an advantage

RETAIL ASSISTANT - Casual Positions

We're looking for two Retail Assistants to join the Little Trooper family! These are casual positions working across both our Tauranga & Mount Maunganui stores. If you've got experience in retail, coupled with a passion for design, fashion and all things kids, we want to hear from you!

This is a busy, dynamic work environment. The successful candidates will be flexible, adaptable and display high levels of energy and enthusiasm. We're looking for people who are passionate about building relationships and are committed to prioritising the experience of their customers. 

Please note the number of hours available will vary greatly from week to week.

  • Ability to work cooperatively and with flexibility as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills

Experience Required: 

  • Demonstrated experience in a retail environment
  • Demonstrated background in design, fashion or working with children is an advantage
